Coastal and Marine
GFRP gratings, handrails and bridges for docks and coastal sites: salt and UV, without wood that rots.
Contact usCoast and sea: salt, UV and humidity without wood that rots
Steel is eaten and wood rots on docks, walkways and coastal sites. CME manufactures GFRP gratings, handrails, profiles, bridges and sheets: immune to salt corrosion, light and with a floor that does not slip.
They do not conduct heat or electricity like metal: safer for bare feet or switchgear near the water.
Where it is used
Walkways and docks for people, with anti-slip grating.
Handrails and structures exposed to salt, wind and sun.
Access bridges, fences and sheets on port or coastal sites.
Why GFRP on the coast
It does not need the steel paint cycle or the replacement of treated wood.
It is moved and assembled with less equipment. A surface that does not go smooth with water.
CME sizes the span and the UV exposure. Isophthalic or vinylester resin according to the medium.
Salt
Sea air and water without rust or rot.
Floor
Anti-slip grating on wet docks and walkways.
Safety
Low thermal and electrical conductivity.
Maintenance
No seasonal varnish or paint.
