At Argentina’s National Institute of Industrial Technology the following tests were carried out:
- Fire behaviour to ASTM D635
- Dielectric strength
- Tensile tests on simple specimens and bolted joints
- Lattice beams
- Cable trays and gratings
- Accelerated UV ageing
Universities
With the National Technological University (UTN) we ran tensile tests on pultruded profile specimens.
At the National University of Rosario, lattice beams and GFRP construction bars were tested. That rebar line is discontinued, even though demand for the product is rising again.
Testing
On several occasions we have run tests on Instron machines, measuring tension and bending of profiles and sheets. These complement institute and university tests with batch and standard-product data.

Revalidation underway
