What is the fire behavior?
By default, all structural profiles manufactured by CME include fillers to comply with ASTM-D635 standard classification HB and IRAM 11910-3 standard classification RE2 (very low flame propagation material). These profiles have a high-quality surface finish, with surface veils that protect against UV rays (they are resistant to ultraviolet ray exposure), and provide a smooth and glossy finish.
If self-extinguishing profiles are required, special resins such as Hetron can be used (when the fire source is removed, they extinguish automatically, and while the energy source is maintained, they carbonize very slowly).
It is also important to note that composite material does not melt, soften or bend, as it is not a thermoplastic but rather a thermoset.
