Need
The company needed a roof for the pulp silo capable of withstanding strong winds and allowing pulp overflow without breaking the sheets, using a hinge system.
They also required a walkway between the two silos, capable of bearing not only wind loads and the weight of people, but also a pipe carrying heavy pulp.
Solution
Design, calculation and manufacture of a roof for a 20-meter-high pulp silo. A walkway between the two silos with a 10.40-meter span was also built.
It has been installed in perfect condition since 2003.
